I have always had a certain unease that there is just too much to learn, see, contemplate and experience in a single lifetime, but I am giving my best. Here are a few highlights...
I love to travel and see other countries. While the current tally is only about 25, I'm hoping to see many more and be a true citizen of the world.
I've spent 3 months caravanning the entire east coast of Australia, have lived in the Torres Strait, backpacked the harvest trail for a season and targeting to do the Savannah way next.
I am a PADI certified open water diver and am looking to complete my Dive Master qualification. I love the locations, sea-life and amazing people you meet while diving.
I do like the occasional, physically testing walk, having hiked all 75km of beaches between Newcastle and Seal Rocks. My next target is the Great North Walk (Newcastle to Sydney).
I continue to find amazement in the state of the music art. I am much higher auditory orientated than visually, having recorded two albums and looking to do an electronic album next.
I prefer living in smaller, more modest quarters than most. I've found that constraining ones available space actually provides a greater level of simplicity and freedom than expected.
I believe the sovereignty of ones own consciousness is a basic human right that globally continues to be further subjugated by governments.
Rock bands, brass bands, touring, solo gigs, late nights, over the top karaoke, so many memories (and lack of) and so many stories which don't belong on this page...
I've spent 10 years with in the local PCYC, donate to education enabling foundations such as Wikipedia, Mozilla and the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and have previously travelled overseas with Rotary.
While living under a house for a month or two near Lavarack Barracks in Townsville, I decided it was a good idea to join the Army for a year or two...
While I'm not super healthy by any means, I prefer running and meditation over any other regime. I'm not a fan of gyms when you can exercise outside for free.
